Fitzroy Dives Deep v1.1


This is the first update to the game focussing on fixing a number of bugs that were not fixed in the initial release or have been found since  release. It also makes the game slightly easier, it may still be on the too hard side for many people.

Changes

  • Fixed memory corruption crash from stopping Arkos sound outside an interrupt. 
  • Fixed bug where you could go above the top of screen (could be seen at start of first level).
  • Combined shoot and use controls into a single control.
  • Moved spike near top left entrance of middle right room to make room transition easier on second level. 
  • Expanded the right most wall in the centre middle room to make room boundary clearer on second level. 
  • Removed spike near bottom right room entrance on the first level to make room change easier. 
  • Made centre middle room exit more obvious on the first level to make room change easier and more obvious. 
  • Entrance to bottom middle room is now normal water on valves level to prevent instant death. 
  • Fixed clipping through solid blocks underwater. 
  • Added additional health to the game to make it slightly easier to play.
  • Fixed water boosting just off block bug (can now boost all the way to the top of the block above the player).
  • Improved boost pixel off bug fix when water is at the top of screen (water all the way to the top of the room).
  • Fixed bug where a tile would be drawn randomly on screen due to a futureYTile value of 255 (-1) (occurred on first level). 
  • Fixed bug where a valve could be used multiple times to cheat valve objective action count.
